We are seeking a dedicated individual with experience in music and audio production to teach and mentor online students. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Winter Park, FL, working from local offices in support of The Los Angeles Film School. Instructors are expected to support the vision, mission, and strategy of the school, displaying the highest professional standards, representing the school with a positive demeanor, and participating in the school’s activities with a collaborative spirit. Faculty may be asked to teach additional courses for which they are credentialed as needs evolve.
We are currently seeking instructors to teach the following courses:
- Digital Recording Principles
- Mixing Concepts and Techniques
Requirements:
- Associate’s Degree in Recording Arts, Music Technology or related field required. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of verifiable work experience as a recording engineer, mixing engineer, or related experience. (clearly listed on resume including dates)
- Minimum of 2 years online teaching experience is preferred but not required
- Proficient with Apple/Mac environment; Microsoft Office; Adobe Creative Cloud; Apple Pro Apps
- Proficiency with Pro Tools software is required. Proficiency with Logic Pro and Ableton Live software is preferred.
