JOB DESCRIPTION |
|
Central Florida law firm specializing in representing homeowner and condominium associations is looking for a detailed and goal oriented professional to excel in client development. This position will develop prospective client accounts through listening, selling solutions that fit their needs and establishing relationships with same. Provide administrative support in all aspect of client development operations, including but not limited to, prospective client material and participation in the firm’s business development strategies. (E.G. seminars and trade shows)
Position Responsibilities/Duties:
• Learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of the firm’s products and services. • Effectively present information and respond to questions/inquiries of potential clients including requests for literature and brochures. Assist in the maintenance of inventory and ordering of same. • Create, maintain and close prospective client files • Manage database of prospective clients • Manage the full life cycle of the sales process from prospecting to closing • Schedule potential client consultations • Assist in facilitating and participating in client and business development functions (i.e. seminars, trade shows, etc) and good will activities (i.e. holiday card and gift project) • Attend and participate in various Community Association organizations, trade shows, etc. as a representative of the firm. Network and make contact with various target audiences to develop business contacts. (i.e Space Coast Condominium Association, CAI, NECAM, etc.) • Create, modify and maintain documents using multiple software applications • Prepare various management reports
Education/Experience:
College degree in Marketing, Communications or Business (related discipline); or 2+ years sales/related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferably within professional services environment
Skills required:
• Prior sales and customer service experience; 2+years • Must be proficient in MS Office and Windows- based computer applications. • Typing speed of 55 wpm • Exceptional communication, analytical and interpersonal skills, written and verbal • Energetic, detail-oriented, highly motivated • Strong consensus building skills • Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines • Work overtime, evenings and weekends, as needed. • Spend approx 4-6 nights away from home during designated times (diminimis overnight travel)
