JOB DESCRIPTION |
|
SUMMARY Provide direction and coordination for volunteer workers, administration and consultation for all volunteer functions within the organization including identifying and developing volunteer ministry opportunities within Lake Hart.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Research, develop, promote, and maintaining a wide range of volunteer opportunities within organization. Recruit, screen, interview applicants Organize and participate in volunteer recognition programs and social events as assigned. Track and follow up with Volunteer website, initial contacts, email and phone responses. Maintain appropriate volunteer records and statistics; prepare regular reports and analysis Interact in a positive and professional manner with both internal and external clients; serve on internal or external committees and organizations as appropriate Learn Volgistic software database; take initiative in keeping current on all new software programs. Perform a variety of administrative duties such as preparing and sending correspondence and establishing and maintaining filing system. Participate in the design and implementation of strategic plans, policies and procedures. Select and place volunteers according to needs and suitability of the volunteers Conduct orientation programs to prepare volunteers to effectively perform their duties in accordance with the department Must show evidence of a growing and personal walk with Jesus Christ and develop an environment on the team where individual team members grow in their own Christian walks. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; minimum three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experienced in volunteer coordination, interviewing, writing, and public speaking.
